Software Developer

Software Developers at RF Code get to do what other software developers don’t! They get to work alongside an amazing hardware engineering team to turn data collected by wireless sensors into amazing data driven software solutions for our current and future customers to use to run world class data centers.

Our customer list includes some of the most recognizable brands on the planet with global deployments at IBM, Dell, Bloomberg, and CenturyLink and so many more.

Software Developers at RF Code also enjoy a hybrid position with the flexibility to work remotely some days.

The Job

RF Code is looking for a Software Developer who can develop solutions that turn big time series datasets into actionable information that customers can use to see where they are doing well, where there is room for improvement and what they can do about it.

Bring us your skills and experience in developing solutions for applied analytics, prediction, anomaly detection, recommendations or other ways you have created high value solutions from data.

You will also have the opportunity to work on other feature and non-feature development tasks for our on-premises and cloud-based products.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 2.5 days a week in the Austin, Texas headquarters.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. RF Code will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Requirements

4+ years of work experience as a Software Developer developing software for large businesses
Skills and experience developing solutions that turn data into actionable information such as: Applied analytics, Prediction, Classification, and Recommendations
Skills and experience developing solutions with: Java, JavaScript, and/or SQL
Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team to achieve objectives
Ability to collaborate on and document solution design and implementation
Ability to write unit and integration tests
Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written communications
Knowledge of Web development and RESTful APIs

Desirable

While not required, candidates with any or all of the following will excel in the Software Developer job at RF Code:

Skills and experience developing solutions with Python
Experience with open-source and enterprise software stacks such as: Spring and/or Hibernate
Experience with large datasets and time series data
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS or Ext JS
Familiarity with Event Driven architecture
User-interface development
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL
Experience developing solutions for data centers
Experience developing solutions with machine learning or artificial intelligence

Education/Experience

College degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related ﬁeld.
